Our children Sophia and Jake will be taking a term out of school, so lessons will be taking place wherever we lay our hats. They have already been working on their times tables with the app Squeebles and with some 12 sided dice we bought at The Maths Museum we stumbled across in New York.

They will be working through Maths and Literacy workbooks and have already done some mini-projects today on The Grand Canyon and The Hoover Dam with the girls we are staying with in LA. We can see their confidence growing daily as we spend more time together and they learn to communicate more with adults.

We hope we can really help them both along with the things they find challenging in a large group environment and that we can ensure they fit right back in when returning to their schools in January.
